PURPOSE: A control apparatus of a disk brake and a method thereof are provided to prevent thermal deformation, to increase braking force and to drive safely by controlling a disk brake pad differently according to each time. CONSTITUTION: A control system of a disk brake is composed of a brake pedal operation detecting unit(100) detecting operation of a brake pedal; an engine control unit(200) outputting driving control signals according to the signal from the brake pedal operation detecting unit, and detecting operation of the brake pedal; and a driving unit(300) synchronizing with the control signal from the engine control unit and operating the disk brake pad entirely or partially. Thermal deformation is prevented by dividing the disk brake pad into four parts and by controlling the disk brake pad respectively corresponding to each time in braking.
