PACLITAXEL DERIVATIVE FOR RADIOSENSITIZER AGENT

PURPOSE: A paclitaxel derivative for a radiosensitizer agent which is used in radiation therapy is provided. The paclitaxel derivative exhibits an excellent antitumor effect when used together with radiation to treat tumor. CONSTITUTION: A paclitaxel derivative is selected from the group consisting of succinyloxymethyloxycarbonyl-paclitaxel, succinyloxythiomethyloxycarbonyl-paclitaxel, 7-monomethoxypolyethyleneglycol 5000-20000 succinyloxymethyloxycarbonyl-paclitaxel and 7-monomethoxypolyethyleneglycol 5000-20000 succinylthiomethyloxycarbonyl-paclitaxel. The paclitaxel derivative has excellent solubility in water and hydrolysis property in vivo to solve problems generated from Cremophor-EL and polysorbate as a surfactant which is used for administration of paclitaxel.
