PURPOSE: A seat driving device for a powered wheel chair is provided to simplify manipulation in use, to reduce the whole weight of the wheel chair, resulting in reduction of battery consumption, simplification in construction, and easiness in maintenance. CONSTITUTION: In a powered wheel chair using electric power of a charged battery, a seat driving device thereof comprises a driving part which one end is installed to a frame(80) of the wheel chair to be driven in a linear manner, a tilt plate(60) which one end is rotatably hinged to the driving part and a seat frame(52) and the other end is separably coupled to the seat frame, and a connection/separation device for selectively coupling or separating the other end of the tilt plate to or from the seat frame.
