PURPOSE: A transmitter of a mobile communication base station is provided to reduce time for a design according to a change of a system. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(60) receives system information for outputting a control signal to set each configuration element for processing signals appropriate for the corresponding system. A transmitting IF processing unit(10) generates a first intermediate frequency signal through a quadrature phase shift key to an input signal from a modem. A first mixing unit(20) down-converts a local frequency signal according to the control signal for generating a second intermediate signal. A first band pass filter(32A) band pass filters the second intermediate signal. A second mixing unit(40) selectively down-converts the local frequency signal appropriate for the corresponding system for generating a wireless frequency signal. A transmitting RF processing unit(50) selectively band pass filters the wireless frequency signal and amplifies the wireless frequency signal.
