PURPOSE: Provided are a resin composition with excellent flame resistance and soldering resistance for coating of a steel plate for a brown tube and the steel plate for a brown tube produced therefrom. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition comprises 100 wt% of silicone resin, 2 to 10 wt% of nano-sized silicate, 100 to 140 wt% of silica and 10 to 30 wt% of metal powder of zinc and/or tine. The steel plate is produced by applying a resin composition comprising 100 weight parts of silicone resin, 2 to 10 wt% of nano-sized silicate, 100 to 140 wt% of silica and 10 to 30 wt% of metal powder of zinc and/or tine to a chromated zinc-nickel alloy steel plate, sintering the plate at a temperature of 160 to 250 deg.C and drying the plate until the resin layer has a thickness of 0.5 to 3.0 micrometer. |
