CONNECTOR FOR CONNECTING COMPRESSED-GAS CANISTER AND FASTENING APPLIANCE

PURPOSE: A connector for connecting a compressed-gas canister and a fastening appliance is provided to improve the connector by securing sealing surface portions extending at right angles to an axis of the sealing surface portions. CONSTITUTION: A connector connects a male ejection end-piece(16) of the compressed-gas canister and a male inlet end-piece(4) of a device(2) for exhausting compressed gas to a fastening appliance. The connector includes a sealing unit(3) for housing the male end-pieces and sealing up a connecting part between the ends along cylindrical-shaped surface portions(34,35). The sealing unit has sealing surface portions(36,37) extending substantially at right angles to an axis(8) of the cylindrical sealing surface portions.
