PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for displaying converted formatting information of data broadcasting are provided to separate contents information and formatting information from the data broadcasting and reorganize the formatting information to be reconstructed with the contents information, thereby displaying the formatting information in a form according to preference of each viewer. CONSTITUTION: A tuner unit(301) receives digital broadcasting signals. A data capture unit(302) identifies and extracts only data broadcasting signals from the digital broadcasting signals received from the tuner unit. A formatting information constructing unit(303) identifies and extracts formatting information from the extracted data broadcasting signals for reconstructing the formatting information in a form selected by a viewer. A contents information constructing unit(304) identifies and extracts contents information from the data broadcasting signals. A data reconstructing unit(305) reorganizes the data broadcasting by applying the extracted contents information to the reconstructed formatting information. A browser(307) realizes the reorganized data broadcasting.
