PURPOSE: To provide a cyclone type canister-based vacuum cleaner which facilitates cleaning inside the dust box. CONSTITUTION: In the vacuum cleaner, the body 1 thereof is provided with a cyclone type dust box 2. In the dust box 2, an outer filter part is so arranged as to form the first cyclone space between it and the internal wall of the dust box 2, in the outer filter part, an inner filter part is so arranged as to form the second cyclone space between it and the internal wall of the outer filter part and furthermore, the outer filter part is provided with a flange part extended toward the internal wall of the dust box.
