PURPOSE: A tag axle lifting apparatus of a vehicle is provided to lift the tag axle with little force by installing the tag axle independently to the driving axle, to reduce parts and expenses by substituting a high cost hydraulic cylinder with a low cost pneumatic cylinder, and to improve driving experience by absorbing impact and vibration with mounting a coil spring between a mounting member and a base arm during traveling. CONSTITUTION: A mounting member(100) installed in a frame is connected to a base arm(200) mounting wheels by a coil spring(300), and impact and vibration are absorbed by reaction force to torsion of the coil spring in turning the base arm. A through hole is formed in a body(110) of the mounting member, and a shaft(500) is inserted to the through hole. The base arm is fixed to the shaft outside the mounting member, and a pneumatic cylinder(800) is installed in the middle of a cross member of the frame. A cylinder rod(810) of the pneumatic cylinder is connected to the center of the shaft by a hinge. Expenses are reduced by lifting the tag axle with little force and substituting the large hydraulic cylinder with the small pneumatic cylinder.
