PURPOSE: Provided is a unit for generating an infrared ray in a sauna system which generates a second infrared ray by conductive and convective heat to increase the flux of the infrared ray without additional energy so that it helps to increase efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The unit for generating the infrared ray in the sauna system comprises the parts of: an infrared heater(10) which lets heat wire housed at a pipe to radiate a first infrared ray; and a first reflection mirror(20) which is placed at rear side of the infrared heater, with including a reflection layer(21) to reflect the first infrared ray generated from the infrared heater and an infrared generation layer(22) to be piled on the reflection layer and generate the second infrared ray by the heated reflection layer.
