PURPOSE: Provided is a glycol dispersion solution of layered silicate, which is excellent in delamination of the layered silicate in terms and intercalation of a glycol monomer and can be used for preparing polyester-layered silicate nanocomposite material. CONSTITUTION: The glycol dispersion solution of the layered silicate is produced by a process comprising the steps of: preparing a water dispersion solution of the layered silicate by mixing water and the layered silicate; adding a glycol component to the water dispersion solution of the layered silicate to intercalate the water and the glycol component in terms of the layered silicate; and removing the water. The concentration of the layered silicate in the dispersion solution is 1-30wt% and the layered silicate is selected from the group consisting of montmorillonite, synthetic smectite, vermiculite, hectorite, and swellable fluorine mica.
