PURPOSE: Assembling and disassembling structure of a shift cable for a vehicle is provided to improve working efficiency by attaching and detaching the shift cable from the bracket conveniently with leverage, and to prevent axial movement and separation of the shift cable by contacting the shift cable to the bracket with an elastic unit. CONSTITUTION: A shift cable assembling system comprises a shift cable(20) transmitting operational force of a shift lever; a transmission bracket(22) supporting the shift cable; an elastic unit(25) having bodies(24,26) installed around the bracket and the shift cable to contact the shift cable to the bracket, and an assembling unit(26a) fixing bodies to the bracket; and an assembling unit(30) moving the shift cable to be assembled and disassembled from the bracket by pushing the side of the elastic unit. Axial movement and displacement of the shift cable are prevented by contacting the shift cable to the bracket.
