PURPOSE: A plug is provided to prevent a signal line from being connected to an earth line with reverse polarity and short between lead wires, and connect the lead wires conveniently and simply. CONSTITUTION: A plug is composed of a couple of plug contact terminals contacted to a couple of equipment terminals(131) corresponding to first and second lead wires(5,7) and installed in a plug housing(15); the plug housing formed asymmetrically corresponding to the shape of an equipment contact recess(139); a reverse insertion restricting unit for forming the asymmetrical plug housing to insert the plug to the asymmetrical contact recess only in the specific direction; and a clamp unit attaching and detaching a couple of lead wires(3). The lead wires are electrically connected to the equipment terminals by inserting the plug to the contact recess. The thick lead wire is connected to the contact terminal by the clamp unit, and connection of reverse polarity is prevented with forming the asymmetrical plug housing.
