PURPOSE: An oil pump is provided to cut off high-frequency wave noise by preventing cavitations by making a pressure cell have a slow-pressure gradient when oil passes from a pump intake port through the pressure cell to a pump discharge port by the rotation drive of a pair of internal gears. CONSTITUTION: In an oil pump including a pump housing(1) having pump intake and discharge ports(2,3), a pair of internal and external gears engaged and rotated inside the pump housing in an inscribed state, and a pressure cell(5) protruded at a passage(4) passing oil from the pump intake port to the pump discharge port, an end surface(8) of the pressure cell contacted to the pump intake port is formed in triangular inclined surfaces(5a,5b).
