PURPOSE: A flash memory card is provided to prevent accidental deletion of stored data, e.g. a music file, a picture file or a document by using a connection state of accidental data deletion protecting electric lines. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises accidental data deletion protecting electric lines(33a, 33b, 33c). The electric lines(33a, 33b, 33c) are formed in a hole on a circuit board, which corresponds to an accidental data deletion protecting hole formed in an upper case and a lower case. The electric lines(33a, 33b, 33c) are connected to a contact terminal(31) for supplying a voltage to accidental data deletion protecting terminals, WPL1, WPL2, WPL3, when the flash memory card is connected to a memory card drive(40). The memory card drive(40) enables a write protect terminal, WP or a write enable terminal, WE according to a voltage of the accidental data deletion protecting terminals, WPL1, WPL2, WPL3, supplied via the electric lines(33a, 33b, 33c).
