HYDRAULIC CYLINDER WITH SEPARABLE CUSHION RING

PURPOSE: A hydraulic cylinder mounting a separable cushion ring is provided to prevent damage of parts at the stroke end of a piston by replacing the cushion ring without separating the piston combined with a cylinder rod and an assembling nut completely. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic cylinder comprises a piston reciprocating linearly within the range of stroke; an assembling member restricting the piston from being separated from a rod; a cover fixed to both sides of a tube containing the rod by welding; and a cushion ring(11) combined with the outer periphery of the rod to relieve impact at the stroke end of the piston. The semispherical and separable cushion ring is replaced in wear or breakage without separating the piston from the assembling part of the rod. A stepped portion(12,13) is formed to prevent the cushion ring from sliding longitudinally on the contact surface.
