PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating a TA(Transfer Acknowledge) signal using a TS(Transfer Start) signal in an asymmetric subscriber system is provided to stably make a TA signal using a TS signal generated from a CPU, in a device making the TA signal according to the number of external devices. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for generating a TA signal using a TS signal in an asymmetric subscriber system is composed of a plurality of decoders(10), a decoder multiplexing part(20), and a TA signal generation part(30). The decoders(10) check the appointed addresses of devices and supply checked decoding signals. The decoder multiplexing part(20), receiving the checked decoding signals from the decoders(10), executes AND operation for them and outputs a single appointed address decoding signal. The TA signal generation part(30) generates a TA signal by combining the address decoding signal multiplexed by the decoder multiplexing part(20) and a TS signal inputted from a CPU.
