摘要 PURPOSE: A shifting control apparatus for a continuously variable transmission is provided to operate a shifting for starting without a high speed range by cutting power transmission between a secondary shaft of the transmission and wheel shaft in sudden braking. CONSTITUTION: A shifting control apparatus for a continuously variable transmission includes a centrifugal clutch(50) and a centrifugal spring(60). The centrifugal clutch is installed to a secondary shaft(20) and a wheel shaft(40) to be connected to the secondary shaft with centrifugal force generated by rotation of the wheel shaft. The centrifugal clutch releases the wheel shaft from the secondary shaft when a wheel is braking. The centrifugal spring is expanded by driving of the secondary shaft inside the centrifugal clutch. Therein, the centrifugal spring transmits power of the secondary shaft to the wheel shaft by connecting a clutch housing(51) to a centrifugal weight(52). A retainer plate(70) is installed between the centrifugal spring and the centrifugal weight to be moved toward a radial direction of a clutch. The centrifugal spring is not operated in idle condition. Thereby, riding comfort is improved by removing shortage of starting feeling in starting after sudden braking.
