PURPOSE: A driver setting type control method of a rain sensor is provided to improve the structure by synchronizing a driver's operating time of a wiper with an operating time of a wiper to be operated by a rain sensor through a rain sensor control unit. CONSTITUTION: A rain is checked. In a rainy day, a control state of a wiper is checked. In an automatic mode of the control state of the wiper, the wiper is operated at a preset initial value. In operating the wiper slower than a driver's command, the wetness of the wiper is removed by pressing an operating button of the wiper and operating the wiper once. The removed wetness is detected through a rain sensor and memorized through a rain sensor control unit. The wiper is continuously operated by changing the preset initial value to the memorized wetness value of the rain sensor control unit. Thereby, the continuous operation of the wiper is unnecessary.
