DIRECTIONAL COUPLER OF MULTI-LAYER TYPE

PURPOSE: A directional coupler is provided to improve the degree of coupling by forming at least two conduction patterns, connected through two via holes, at an adjacent dielectric layer of two dielectric layers where signal lines are formed. CONSTITUTION: A main signal line(24) consists of a conduction pattern formed on at least two ones(20c,20d) of plural dielectric layers and has an input terminal(IN) and an output terminal(OUT). A coupling signal line(22) consists of a conduction pattern formed on two other dielectric layers(20a,20b) and has a coupling output terminal(C/O) and an isolation terminal(T). At least two or more conduction patterns are formed at adjacent dielectric layers on dielectric layers where the main signal line and the coupling signal lines are formed. The conduction patterns of the adjacent dielectric layers are connected with conduction patterns formed on other dielectric layers through at least two via holes.
