SYNDIOTACTIC POLYSTYRENE RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING IMPROVED IMPACT PROPERTY

PURPOSE: Provided is a syndiotactic polystyrene resin composition which shows improved impact property and excellent other mechanical property, by adding a new compatibilizer and maximizing a blending property. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises (A) 50-97 parts by weight of syndiotactic polystyrene resin(sPS), (B) 1-10 parts by weight of polyphenylene oxide(PPO), (C) 1-20 parts by weight of hydrogenated styrene/butadiene/styrene block copolymer(hydrogenated-SEBS) as an impact modifier, and (D) 1-20 parts by weight of reactive ethylene-acrylic ester-glycidyl methacrylate(EAG) copolymer or ethylene-glycidyl methacrylate(E-GMA) copolymer as a compatibilizer.
