PURPOSE: An operation control method of a washing machine is provided to improve the reliability, and to wash efficiently by preventing increase of temperature before washing with setting the long range of final motor stop in soaking. CONSTITUTION: Soaking and washing are set through a key input unit, and water is supplied in starting soaking(S10,S11). A motor is agitated during the first predetermined time in finishing water supply, and stopped during the second predetermined time(S12,S13). The motor is rotated during the third predetermined time, and stopped during the second predetermined time(S14,S15). The motor is stopped during the fourth predetermined time in case of remaining time of soaking to be the fourth predetermined time(S16,S17). Soaking is finished after the fourth predetermined time, and washing is performed(S19,S20). Washing is performed actively by reducing increase of temperature with cooling the motor in stopping the motor for a long time during soaking. |
