JOURNAL BEARING

PURPOSE: A journal bearing is provided to prevent oil from being leaked by stably guiding oil in such a manner that hydraulic pressure is evenly distributed. CONSTITUTION: A journal bearing surrounds a journal of a rotating shaft(200) and forms an oil film between a bearing and the rotating shaft(200) so as to support the rotating shaft(200). At least two bearing pad are coupled to the journal bearing. The journal bearing has four lubricating surfaces(14). The oil film is formed on the lubricating surfaces(14). An oil feeding hole(19) is formed in the lubricating surfaces(14). A collecting section is formed in the lubricating surfaces(14) in order to collect lubricating oil therein. An anti-leakage section(16) is formed at both sides of the collecting section in order to prevent lubricating oil from being leaked from the collecting section.
