PURPOSE: A tumble-restrained guardrail post is provided to increase the horizontal resistance of a rail post against the ground by attaching a reinforcing rib with a proper width, height and thickness determined by structural calculation. CONSTITUTION: The size of tumble-restrained reinforcing rib is fixed through a proper structural calculation and the rib is manufactured based on the calculated data, then the product is welded to the guardrail post(11). Therefore the guardrail post(11) stays fixed, even facing a bump with a car or other external physical impacts. Most of all, the length and the diameter of a guardrail is minimized.
