PURPOSE: To prevent that a command is inputted during initialization operation and malfunction is caused. CONSTITUTION: A power-on reset signal PWONRSTn of a low level is outputted until voltage reaches a power-on detecting level after a power source is applied, after the signal is reversed by an inverter IN11, a status is set to a busy state by inputting it to a NOR circuit NR11 in the same way as a command 1 or 2. Thereby, the device is in a busy-state during initialization operation until power source voltage reaches a power-on detecting level. Also, this status is outputted to the outside by a status read-out mode signal, and it is informed to a user. Therefore, it is prevented that a user erroneously inputs a command during initialization operation.
