PURPOSE: A power train apparatus for a clothes drier is provided to transmit power from a motor to a drying drum stably by engaging grooves of a driving gear with projections of a driven gear, and to repair and maintain conveniently by preventing damage or deformation with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A power train device of a clothes drier comprises a motor(50) generating rotational force, and a drying drum(30) installed in the body. An engagement unit is placed between a driving shaft(51) of the motor and the drying drum to transmit rotational force of the motor to the drying drum. The drying drum is rotated by the engagement unit in rotating the driving shaft of the motor. The engagement unit has a driving gear part(80) installed in the driving shaft, and a driven gear part(90) installed circumferentially around the drying drum and engaged with the driving gear part to receive rotational force of the motor. Rotational force from the motor is transmitted to the drying drum stably with simple structure. |
