PURPOSE: A clothes dryer is provide to prevent slip, and to transmit power between a driving unit and a drying drum stably by directly connecting the drying drum to the driving unit applying rotational force to the drying drum with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A clothes dryer comprises a body(100); a drying drum(200) installed in the body; front and rear support plates(40,50) rotatably supporting front and rear circumferences of the drying drum; a driving unit connected to the rear part of the drying drum to apply rotational force; an inlet(40a) formed in the front of the body for putting the laundry into the drying drum; a door(60) installed in the inlet for opening and closing; hot blast supply and discharge passages(10,90) supplying hot blast into the drying drum and discharging hot blast out of the body; a heater(20) installed in the hot blast supply passage to heat air; and an exhaust fan(70) blowing into the hot blast supply and discharge passages. Power is transmitted stably by connecting the drying drum to the driving unit directly. |
