PURPOSE: A device of reversely mixing parallel distributed samples for downlink data of an ATM PON(Passive Optical Network) is provided to perform a distributed sample reverse mixing process with a 77.76MHz clock when recovering original data in an ONU(Optical Network Unit), thereby reducing power consumption and obtaining sufficient timing margins. CONSTITUTION: A serial/parallel converter(210) converts inputted serial data into byte-unit parallel data through a cell boundary identification. An HEC(Header Error Correction) generator(230) varies an MSB(Most Significant Bit) value according to a result of calculating a CRC up to set bytes of an ATM cell header for an output of the serial/parallel converter(210). A distributed sample reverse mixer(220) receives the output of the serial/parallel converter(210), reversely mixes according to a set generation polynomial by using the MSB value, and outputs the reversely mixed parallel data.
