STRIP THREADING APPARATUS AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLED ACCORDING TO SIZE OF STRIP

PURPOSE: A strip threading apparatus is provided to safely guide a strip top from a pay off reel to a flattener by using a strip top detector capable of effectively detecting the strip top. CONSTITUTION: A strip threading apparatus includes a magnet table(100), a threading table and a strip top detector. One end of the magnet table(100) comes into contact with an upper portion of a coil. The other end of the magnet table(100) is rotatably coupled to a supporter. A hydraulic cylinder(106) is mounted on an upper portion of the magnet table(100). A plurality of magnets, belts and rollers are installed on a horizontal surface of the magnet table(100). The threading table is attached to a lower portion of the magnet table(100) by means of magnets so as to support a strip conveyed through the belts. One side of the threading table is hinged to a flattener and the other side of the threading table is connected to a hydraulic cylinder. The strip top detector has a coil contact sensor and a coil top detecting sensor.
