PURPOSE: A steering system of a shimmy cutoff vehicle is provided to completely cut off shimmy, which is transmitted by a tie rod connected to a rack bar of a gear box unit converting the operation force of the steering wheel and operating the direction of vehicle wheels and is generated in a rotational direction of a steering wheel, at a steering column. CONSTITUTION: A steering system of a shimmy cutoff vehicle is composed of a controller(2) deciding displacement degree and the signal of an acceleration sensor(3) measuring the degree of acceleration to the movement of a tie rod(T) connected to a gear box unit converting the operation force of a steering wheel to operate the direction of vehicle wheels(W) by a signal line(3a), a power supplying device(5) applying power to a rack bar(R) of the gear box unit with a supplying line connected to a relay(4) turned on by a control signal of the controller as an operation switch(1) is turned on, and a power cutoff line(7) coupling between the relay and the controller to cut off a constraining device constraining the movement of the rack bar in the power supplying device applying power and the power supply of the constraining device.
