APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING SUPPLY OF REDUCED IRON TO MELTER GASIFIER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling supply of reduced iron to melter gasifier is provided to control distribution of reduced iron inside the melter gasifier by properly controlling charging angle of reduced iron charged into the melter gasifier according to operation conditions and purposes. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for supplying reduced iron to melter gasifier from drop box for receiving reduced iron and storing the received reduced iron temporarily, the apparatus for controlling supply of the reduced iron to the melter gasifier comprises a variable chute(11) rotationally mounted on an outlet of the drop box(32) so that a reduced iron discharging angle into the melter gasifier(1) is variably adjusted; and a cylinder(12) the end of an operating bar(12a) of which is connected to the side of the variable chute(11) by a pin to rotate the variable chute(11) so that distribution of charging raw materials is controlled by controlling supply of the reduced iron into the melter gasifier(1) according to rotation of the variable chute(11), wherein the variable chute(11) is rotationally connected to the outlet of the drop box(32) by a pin(14), and the apparatus further comprises a gas leakage prevention pipe(13) mounted to connect the lower part of the drop box(32) to an inlet of the melter gasifier(1) so that the variable chute(11) is covered to prevent gas emitted from an outlet of the variable chute(11) from leaking to the outside.
