PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic feeder capable of smoothly feeding a feed having large particle, preventing the feed from scattering when a feed box is attached and feeding the feed to small animals in an arbitrary order. SOLUTION: This automatic feeder 1 is equipped with a plurality of feed storage chambers 4 storing the feeds for small animals such as guinea pig so as to enable feeding and having feed ports 5 for discharging the feeds, a casing 10 connected to these feed storage chambers 4 and guiding feeds discharged from these feed storage chambers 4 and a gate means 11 installed in the casing 10 and openably blocking the feed ports 5. In the automatic feeder 1, the gate means 11 is equipped with a plurality of slide plates 23 slidably provided in the casing 10 so as to correspond to each feed port 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
