PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing method improved in reinforcing properties, workability, productivity and economical efficiency, that is, a reinforcing/ repairing method related to reinforcement/repairing due to a prepreg, forming no gap with respect to a substrate material and capable of keeping the tack strength of the prepreg to stick and fix the prepreg to a rising surface or a ceiling surface. SOLUTION: A resin composition (a) containing a polymerizable oligomer and/or a polymer (A), a polymerizable monomer (B), a thixotropic agent (C) and a polymerization initiator (D) or a curing accelerator (E) as essential components is applied to the substrate material and a fiber reinforced resin sheet (b) containing a polymerizable oligomer and/or a polymer (F), a polymerizable monomer (G), a photopolymerization initiator (H), a thickener (J) and a fiber reinforcing material (K) as essential components is laminated to the resin composition layer and the whole is irradiated with active rays through the fiber reinforced resin sheet to be cured.
