PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit for an electric motor vehicle in which a manufacturing cost of molds is not too expensive. SOLUTION: A partition part 19 for partitioning a space inside a battery case 11 (11B) to receive a battery pack is arranged so that the position of the partition part can be changed in the battery case 11 (11B). According to the constitution, by simply changing the position of the partition part depending on sizes of the battery packs, the battery pack is suitably received by the partition part. Therefore, even if the battery packs have a plurality of kinds of sizes, specifications of the battery case 11 (11B) or the partition part 19 are standardized to minimize the number of molds for manufacturing these parts, so that the manufacturing cost is reduced.
