PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method for a filtering/drying apparatus constituted so as to wash off impurities in a cake simultaneously with the washing of the upper inner wall surface of a filter tank, and a washing apparatus adapted thereto. SOLUTION: In washing the filter tank performing the filtering of a slurry and the drying of a cake, a guide member 2 is arranged to the fixing member 1 fixed to the outer wall surface of the filter tank A so as to be extended therefrom and washing water jet nozzles 5 are provided to the leading end of the jet pipe 3 closely piercing through the fixing member 1 to move forwardly and rearwardly while a washing water supply pipe 7 is connected to the base part of the jet pipe 3 and the lid body 6 provided to the leading end of the jet pipe 3 is closely fitted in the fixing member 1.
