PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct the columns and beams of the frames of a building by a pin connection by adopting a base isolation structure for the foundation portion of the building. SOLUTION: The foundation portion 3 of the building is formed in a base isolation structure. The columns 1 and the beams 2 are formed by the pin connection 6, and braces 7 are installed at four corner parts on each story. At the time of earthquake, the earthquake is isolated by the foundation portion, and a lateral rigidity is provided by the braces 7.
