PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excretion treatment apparatus capable of eliminating livestock feces and capable of economically treating excretions during a short period of time without almost generating residue after fermentation treatment. SOLUTION: The elimination treatment tank 1 of a livestock feces treatment apparatus receiving livestock feces charged after solid-liquid separation along with microorganisms (effective bacteria) to subject the same to elimination treatment is formed into a cylindrical drum shape to be provided so as to be rotatable in a circumferential direction. Livestock feces is housed in the treatment tank 1 along with a bacteria bed 3 using porous bodies, for example, woody chips such as sawdust or the like being a treatment medium having microorganisms (effective bacteria) immobilized thereon. As the treatment medium being the bacteria bed 3, matter prepared by immobilizing a mixture of lignin decomposing bacteria, heat-resistant actinomyces, white putrefactive basidomycetes, cellulose decomposing bacteria, an anaerobic sporal bacillus group, filamentous fungi, protein decomposing bacteria and hay bacillus on sawdust is used.
