DECORATIVE FILM AND THERMOPLASTIC RESIN SHEET WITH HIGH BRIGHTNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin sheet with a high brightness which, without performing spray coating for providing a metallic color development suppressing gloss, can provide a metallic color development with a high brightness being equal to it and is suitable for vacuum molding. SOLUTION: A decorative film prepared by applying solid printing or coating of an ink comprising a glitter powder (an aluminum powder) and a thermoplastic resin binder as essential ingredients on one face of a transparent thermoplastic resin film is used. The film is heatwelded and integrated with a thermoplastic resin sheet by making the solid printed or coated face inside. As the ink layer formed by printing or coating is under a condition where the glitter powder is arranged in lines, it becomes a high brightness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
