PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet printer having a head reciprocating in the widthwise direction of a recording medium and being powered through a flat cable in which crosstalk is prevented without enlarging the size. SOLUTION: Each tube 31 projecting from the end face on each side of a head 7 in the moving direction is attached with an FPC 43. Consequently, the FPC 43 can be divided into two and isolated well from each other. No crosstalk take place between FPCs 43 thus divided. Crosstalk between the FPCs 43 attached to respective tubes 31 can also be prevented well because the number of patterns is divided into two. Furthermore, behavior of each FPC 43 can be settled similarly to the tube 31 because it is attached to the tube 31 through a tube band 41. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
