PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insecticide material effectively using paper powder of waste, extraction residue of coffee extracted solution and wood meal of Japanese cypress material and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This granular insecticide material is produced by mixing paper powder with extraction residue of coffee extracted solution of roasted coffee beans, wood meal of Japanese cypress material, a highly water-absorbing resin, an insecticide and then water to give a hydrous mixture, extruding and granulating the mixture, vibrating the granulated material on a mesh to make the diameters of the granulated material uniform, coating at least a part of the surface of the sized granulated material with wood meal of Japanese cypress material, forming a granulated material having≥3 millimeter particle diameter and drying the formed granulated material to≤10% water content.
