PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anionic electrodeposition coating material having a good die mark-concealing property, good in finishing property and paint stability. SOLUTION: This anionic electrodeposition coating material contains (A) at least 1 kind of an inorganic pigment selected from (a<SB>1</SB>) a clay-based pigment, (a<SB>2</SB>) a baryta-based pigment and (a<SB>3</SB>) a mica-based pigment, (B) an aqueous resin containing hydroxy and carboxy groups and (C) a crosslinking agent.
