PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a capability of a hopper provided with a bridge preventing apparatus of a type in which a vibration is directly added to powder and particle. SOLUTION: A vibrating member 3 in this hopper is constituted by one or a plurality of long stripes 30. A base end of the long stripe 30 is fixed to a shock absorbing member 40. An extremity end of the long stripe 30 extends from a position where a through-pass hole 5 of a hopper main body 1 is formed toward another position at an inner wall surface of the hopper main body 1 and this is not directly contacted with the inner wall surface of the hopper main body 1. Due to this fact, it is possible to perform a positive transmittance of vibration not only to a location near the through-pass hole 5 (a vibrator device 2) but also a stored item placed at another position in the inner wall surface of the hopper main body 1. In addition, even if the extremity end of the long stripe 30 is extended from the position where the through-pass hole 5 of the hopper main body 1 is arranged toward another position at the inner wall surface of the hopper main body 1, it does not become any hindrance against motion of the stored item and so the vibrating member 3 does not accept any substantial high resistance from the stored item.
