PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose ester film capable of being prevented from deterioration of UV light absorption performance and discoloration, even when exposed to an atmosphere of high temperature and high humidity for a long time. SOLUTION: This cellulose ester film contains a specified benzotriazole-based UV light absorber in an amount of 0.2-3 g/m<SP>2</SP>and has a film thickness of 30-200μm. The specified benzotriazole-based UV light absorber is expressed by general formula (I) (R<SB>1</SB>to R<SB>5</SB>are each H, a halogen, an alkyl or the like). The film has excellent durability as a polarizing plate-protective film even in a state of the high temperature and high humidity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
