PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latex foam capable of developing additional action such as a design effect or the like while putting the excellent physical properties possessed by the latex foam to practical use by forming a desired embossed pattern on the surface of a substrate material comprising the latex foam and reducing a contact area, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A latex foam raw material becoming the substrate material 12 is prepared and 3-10 pts.wt. of a gelling agent is added to and mixed with 100 pts.wt. of the raw material to bring the raw material to a gel state with a predetermined viscosity and a release material 16, to which desired uneven processing is applied, is pressed to the gelled matter and this gelled matter is heated in a pressed state to crosslink and cure the latex foam raw material. Next, the release material 16 is peeled to reversely transfer the embossed pattern of the release material 16 to the surface 12a of the substrate material 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
