PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oriented film having excellent low-temperature heat- sealable properties, and low-temperature heat sealable properties after corona treatment. SOLUTION: This oriented film includes a layer comprising a polypropylene composition for the oriented film containing a copolymer of propylene andα-olefin and/or ethylene, and is at least uniaxially oriented. The copolymer has a quantity of heat absorption [a main quantity (J/g) of heat absorption] within the temperature range from (T-10) (°C) to (T+10) (°C) centering the temperature T (°C) exhibiting the maximum heat-absorption peak, regulated so as to be 15-36% of the quantity of the heat absorption [the total quantity (J/g) of heat absorption] within the range from 53°C to 170°C.
