摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a porous TiO<SB>2</SB>thin film in which the applicability and the improvement of productivity are secured using a SPD method (spray decomposition method) and the conversion efficiency of a solar cell is improved, to provide an electrode for a dyestuff sensitizing solar cell using the TiO<SB>2</SB>thin film for the solar cell and a method for forming the electrode for the solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: A porous TiO<SB>2</SB>layer is grown by adding a titanium compound (a soluble titanium compound) into a TiO<SB>2</SB>sol solution to prepare a raw material solution C or mixing an amorphous TiO<SB>2</SB>sol solution with an anatase type TiO<SB>2</SB>sol aqueous solution to prepare a raw material D and intermittently spraying the raw material solution C or D on a substrate preserved at a high temperature to deposit TiO<SB>2</SB>phase formed by the thermal decomposition of the titanium compound among the TiO<SB>2</SB>fine particles. A dense TiO<SB>2</SB>baffer layer using an organic titanium compound as a raw material is interposed between a transparent electrode film constituting the electrode and the TiO<SB>2</SB>thin film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
