METHOD OF FORMING TiO2 THIN FILM AND ELECTRODE FOR DYESTUFF SENSITIZING SOLAR CELL AND ELECTRODE FOR DYESTUFF SENSITIZING SOLAR CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a porous TiO2thin film in which the applicability and the improvement of productivity are secured using a SPD method (spray decomposition method) and the conversion efficiency of a solar cell is improved, to provide an electrode for a dyestuff sensitizing solar cell using the TiO2thin film for the solar cell and a method for forming the electrode for the solar cell.

SOLUTION: A porous TiO2layer is grown by adding a titanium compound (a soluble titanium compound) into a TiO2sol solution to prepare a raw material solution C or mixing an amorphous TiO2sol solution with an anatase type TiO2sol aqueous solution to prepare a raw material D and intermittently spraying the raw material solution C or D on a substrate preserved at a high temperature to deposit TiO2phase formed by the thermal decomposition of the titanium compound among the TiO2fine particles. A dense TiO2baffer layer using an organic titanium compound as a raw material is interposed between a transparent electrode film constituting the electrode and the TiO2thin film.
