PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a femoral component which provides the longer life in maintenance of the function of a prosthetic knee joint by suppressing the decrease in bone density after TKA of the prosthetic knee joint and a prosthetic knee joint consisting of the same and a shank component. SOLUTION: The femoral component of the prosthetic knee joint is mounted at the distal end of the femur and is installed upright with a peg in approximately the longitudinal central part of the inside surface, in which the peg is eccentrically positioned to a front portion.
