PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide blocks for masonry enabling easy bar arrangement in masonry and easy positioning of each block for masonry, a manufacturing method of the blocks for masonry, and a masonry method. SOLUTION: The upper surface of the block 10 for masonry is provided with a long groove 12 having a substantially V-shape and two cavities 14 communicating with the long groove 12. Two cavities 14 are formed at positions where the centers of the cavities 14 are shifted from the midpoint of the thickness in the direction of the thickness of the block 10. Face shells 16a and 16b formed on the opposite sides of two cavities 14 and the long groove 12 have a different thickness. In the masonry, for example, face shells 16a and 16b of the blocks 10 for masonry adjacent vertically and laterally are arranged back to front, thereby positioning the centers of the cavities 14 of the adjacent blocks 10 on respective center lines vertically and laterally.
