PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welfare vehicle in which the user of a wheelchair easily gets on the driving seat of the vehicle and also necessity to secure a space for in-vehicle movement is eliminated. SOLUTION: When a driving motor 3 is operated in a state where the door 4 of the driving seat is opened, a moving mechanism moves a carriage 2 in parallel between the space 1 in the driving seat and a road surface 5 at the side of the driving seat. The user 7 sitting on the wheelchair 6 gets on the carriage 2 while facing the front of the vehicle and directly gets onto the space 1 of the driving seat from the side of the vehicle together with the wheelchair 6.
