<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deliver packages by concentrically controlling image data and code data of written requests, and referring these data in a delivery center for delivering the packages. <P>SOLUTION: This package delivery system has a window center 10 for reading the delivery information out of a written request of a package, for recognizing image data thereof to generate code data and for transmitting the image data and the code data as delivery data to a collection and delivery center, the collection and delivery center 20 for receiving the delivery data to hold it, for transmitting the delivery data to a delivery center in charge of delivery of the package and for renewing the delivery data to hold it when receiving a delivery change notice of the delivery data, and the delivery center 30 for receiving the delivery data from the collection and delivery center 20, for transmitting a delivery notice containing the delivery data to a destination based on the delivery data and for transmitting the delivery change notice to the collection and delivery center to renew the delivery data when receiving the delivery change notice from the destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
